Volunteer
Do you have a few hours that you can share with the Central Florida community?
Lighthouse Central Florida (LCF) offers a variety of opportunities for you to share your time, talent, and energy with people who are challenged with low vision or blindness.
We have volunteer opportunities available such as administrative support, instructor assistants, as well as needs for people who are computer savvy, for people with experience and skills in fundraising, and opportunities to participate on committees. Become active in your community by volunteering with Lighthouse Central Florida. Be a part of a speaker's bureau that travels to schools, nursing homes, clubs or community events to raise awareness for LCF. Lend us your hand, heart, and effort to enhance our mission. "Volunteers"
Where would we be without volunteers
Who quickly respond when a need appears?
This is the way you have chosen to serve,
What appreciation you deserve!
There are very many things to do,
and YOUR time can only be given by YOU!
So without complaint and without demands
You offer the labor of your hands.
The world is a better place to live in
when people like you are so willing to give.
With this attitude of love and care
You will find a welcome anywhere.
You may not always know
When someone is blessed by a kindness you’ve shown.
As you freely share your hours and days,
may you also be blessed in many ways.
