Puttin on the Ritz Lighthouse Central Florida spotlights their annual fundraising gala, Puttin’ on The Ritz.

Saturday, September 13, 2008 6:00pm - 10:30pm.

This year we are proud to honor business leader, G. Brock Magruder, Sr. M.D., for his distinguished commitment to our community. Dr. Magruder, Sr. founded the Central Florida Society of Ophthalmology, served as the statewide President of the Florida Society of Ophthalmology, and held many other prestigious positions in the medical community. He currently serves on the board of Crummer School of Business of Rollins College in Winter Park and as Trustee of the Chesley G. Magruder Foundation in Central Florida. His involvement with Lighthouse Central Florida continues to encourage growth in its ability to give back independence to people stricken with vision loss.

We are delighted to have the opportunity to show our appreciation as we highlight Dr. Magruder’s many achievements. We invite you to join us and help give people with low vision and blindness a chance to regain their independence.

All reservations include hors d’oeuvres, a gourmet meal created by the award-winning culinary team at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, wine service with dinner, and live music and dancing with The Daniel Flick Jazz Ensemble. Individual seats are available for $250, and tables of ten are available for $2,500.
