Youth Services
Lighthouse Central Florida's Youth Services program is entitled, “Can Too!” - designed for children ages 6 through 13 (or grades K-7). Activities focus in helping youths develop self-awareness, self-advocacy and learn daily living skills that foster personal independence.
Youth Services promote the development of daily living skills and behaviors needed to succeed in home and school settings. Students also participate in recreation and leisure activities as well as community service projects.
Parents are given the opportunity to network and build relationships with other parents during meeting times and family workshops are offered to share information and resources.
For those parents that are interested, the "Can Too" program meets every Wednesday (except holidays) from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Lighthouse's college park location:
215 East New Hampshire Street, Orlando, FL 32804.
