Lighthouse Central Florida's School Age Children's Services is a program entitled the Can, Too!, for children ages 6 through 13, or grades Kindergarten through seventh grade. Activities the children participate in help them develop self-awareness, self-advocacy, and learn daily living skills that foster personal independence. School Age Children’s Services promote the development of daily living skills and behaviors needed to succeed in home and school settings. Students also participate in recreation and leisure activities, and community service projects. Parents are given the opportunity to network and build relationships with other parents during meeting times and family workshops are offered to share information and resources.
