Access Technology

Access Technology training enables individuals to use technology in the home, school, and workplace. Instruction offered includes: typing, access software, Windows navigation, word processing, e-mail, internet, spreadsheets, and use of devices such as note takers, printers, Braille embossers, and scanners. Individuals who complete access technology are able to use the computer and other devices to perform important daily living tasks such as paying bills, shopping, maintaining checking, savings, and investment accounts, and communicating with friends and family. The skills learned from access technology training give graduates an edge in the competitive job market.
